Supporting Organizations

MACHE Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators. Advises and supports homeschooling parents, fights for our rights in the state legislature. Hosts the yearly MACHE conference.
MHA Minnesota Homeschooler's Alliance. Secular organization offering support, an annual conference, and field trips.
MCHE Minnesota Catholic Home Education. Offers a yearly conference, support, and curriculum links specifically for Catholic families.
HBEAA Home Based Educators Accrediting Association. Offers accreditation for your homeschool, "official" transcripts and diplomas.
TEACH An accrediting association. Provides credibility and gives accredited diplomas, transcripts and academic records to schools, colleges, the military and employers. Offers achievement testing: Stanford Achievement Test (SAT) along with the Otis Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) which shows if students are working up to their potential.

Christian Homeschool Forums A wealth of info, and lots of experienced moms to "talk" to.
FIAR Forums Primarily for users of the Five in a Row curriculum, and those considering it, but has forums on many general topics as well. An extensive list of links to many support groups and organizations around the state. Support site by Rainbow Resources with forums, articles and reviews.
