2011-2012 Student Dress Rehearsals:

Guthrie Tickets

This opportunity comes to us through a homeschool theater group in the twin cities called "Theatrix". One of the contacts works in our Buffalo Community Theater.

Once again this year we are excited to announce that we have been able to secure a limited number of underwritten tickets for several Guthrie productions for the 2015-2016 season (listed at the end of this email). Tickets continue to be a lucky $13 apiece.

The Guthrie is aware that many families who homeschool or use alternative methods of education have financial limitations, so it generously continues to underwrite these tickets to increase accessibility to fine regional theater.

We are so fortunate to have this opportunity and would like to make it available to as many homeschooling families as possible, so please pass on this information to anyone you think might be interested.

To obtain tickets:

1) Send an e-mail to the following address and specify the number of tickets you’d like for each performance.

theatrixinformation@gmail.com

2) Receive an email confirming your request.
3) Send a check, made payable to “Theatrix,” to the address below.

Theatrix
1628 Ashbury Place
Eagan, MN 55122

4) Receive another email confirmation when your check is received. If tickets for a particular production are sold out, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified if, or when, more tickets become available.

Payment:

Payment to Theatrix for each performance is due five weeks before the performance; we must pay the Guthrie about a month in advance. If your payment is not received at least five weeks before the production you want to attend, your order will be cancelled, and the tickets will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. Payments are not refundable.
Seats are limited and reserved on a first-come basis.

Obtaining your tickets:

One or both of us will be at the Guthrie with your tickets one-half hour before the start of the play. We will be standing on the ground floor between the two escalators (closer to the west one). If you are unable to attend a performance, please let us know as soon as you can—right up to 10 minutes before the curtain goes up.

We look forward to seeing you at the Guthrie!

Susan Bundlie (651-210-5050)
Zanna Joyce Fleming (612-716-6306)

P.S. Not all plays may be suitable for all ages. Please feel free to consult the Guthrie (by email or online) with specific questions about the age-appropriateness of a production.
P.P.S. Also, the Guthrie has a wealth of opportunities available through its youth and education programming. Be sure to investigate! http://www.guthrietheater.org/education
